Social Media Is Calling For ESPN To Fire NFL Analyst Ryan Clark

Ryan Clark has upset a lot of people over his latest statements regarding Shedeur Sanders.

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and his NFL Draft stock are polarizing topics, and much has been said about them over the past few weeks.

Clark also had something to say, suggesting that there is a racial bias against Sanders and quarterbacks in the NFL.

“We all know that it’s not just about him being Deion Sanders’ son,” Clark said.

“It’s about the bravado he carries. It’s about the fact that he looks a certain way. It is about the fact that the color of his skin sometimes at that position can be questioned… And I believe Shedeur Sanders is going to have to deal with that until he gets on the field.”

Ryan Clark’s comments came after NFL insider Josina Anderson reported that an anonymous scout described Sanders as “brash” and “arrogant” during a team meeting.NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry added that two teams felt Sanders was “unprofessional” and “disinterested” in their interviews.

Clark’s comments offended many to the point that some are calling for his firing.

“Everybody had questions about Johnny Manziel’s arrogance and attitude before he transitioned to the NFL. According to Ryan Clark, if you have any of these questions about Shedeur Sanders, you’re racist. Isn’t everybody tired of this? The “RC” on his lapel stands for Race Card, not Ryan Clark,” Jason Whitlock stated.

“Clark, who only has a career because he calls everything racist @espn, says anyone questioning Shadeur Sanders quarterbacking ability is racist. Newsflash, every QB gets questioned before the draft. All. Of. Them,” Clay Travis added.

“Ryan Clark should be fired!” a third fan stated.

“Clark should be fired immediately! He’s done this over and over again. But, he’s on WOKE ESPN, so it’ll continue,” a fourth fan commented.

One final fan added: “Loved Ryan Clark’s play as a Steeler. Needs to STFU as an ESPN commentator. Wish he would get fired, but he’ll claim it was because he’s black.”

During the 2024 season, Sanders led the Buffaloes to a 9-4 record, finishing with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns.

He also earned Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year honors and named the winner of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, an annual award given to the top college quarterback.

One could say Travis Hunter wouldn’t have walked away with the Heisman Trophy without Sanders being his quarterback.

Former NFL star Ryan Clark said that racism could be behind the declining draft value of Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.

While many fans are calling for him to be fired, it is unlikely to happen.

Despite race-based topics, Clark is one of the most knowledgeable former players the Worldwide Leader In Sports has ever hired.
