There was one particular moment in Stephen A Smith’s life when he was unable to get intimate with a woman, according to the man himself, and it’s all thanks to Tim Tebow.
Smith relived the moment during an interview with former ‘First Take’ co-host last week, having linked up with his old partner in crime to do a show together for the first time since 2016.
Ironically, the episode was recorded the day after LeBron James unloaded on the ESPN talent, so lots of people thought it odd that he would suddenly reunite with the analyst who has been LBJ’s biggest detractor over the course of the player’s career.
The show, which was released on Monday, also took place shortly after SAS reached a mega-deal with The Worldwide Leader in Sports. It’s reported that he secured a five-year, $100 million deal with the network.
Stephen A Smith Had His Plans For Some “Action” Ruined By Tim Tebow And The Denver Broncos

While the two men did discuss LeBron, Smith had nothing but praise for the Lakers star.Still, Skip brought up one of the worst periods of his life, recalling Tebow’s playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2012.
Smith admitted that the Steelers’ loss marked the worst moment of his career in sports journalism, given that he’s a Steelers fan and would have to face Bayless the following day. The 57-year-old confessed to thinking up ways to get off from work at ESPN, even considering causing a minor car crash because simply calling in sick would have been too suspicious.
He also revealed he was unable to “have sex” due to how depressed he was.
“Had a very beautiful, sexy woman in my life at that time, and I was having a really, really, really good time with her most evenings,” he said. “And I would always make sure there was a little action going on.”
Stephen A claimed to have collapsed and lay on the floor for over two hours after Tebow’s touchdown pass.
“I couldn’t eat, couldn’t have sex, couldn’t do nothing,” he added.
To top it all off, he was unable to avoid reporting in for work the following day, where he would have to endure Skip’s taunting.
He didn’t disclose whether the beautiful, sexy woman understood.
