ESPN’s Pat McAfee Calls Out The NFL For Disrespecting Him With Their Recent Actions

Pat McAfee isn’t holding back his frustration with the league. Despite hosting one of the largest NFL-themed shows, McAfee believes the league isn’t giving him the respect he’s earned.

His latest issue? Being relegated to an isolated location during the NFL Scouting Combine- a move he sees as a deliberate slight.

In a recent video posted on X, McAfee called out the NFL, suggesting that someone in middle management was “flexing power” to make things difficult for his show. He claimed unnecessary hurdles were placed in his way, insinuating jealousy might be at play. “Someone at that middle level who has power wanted to flex the fact that they have power,” Pat McAfee said. “Hoops were made for us to jump through for no reason.”

The controversy isn’t stopping at the Combine. Pat McAfee revealed that the league planned to sideline him during the upcoming NFL Draft as well. He hinted that officials had designated an unfavorable setup for his show, reinforcing what he sees as ongoing disrespect. “Flexing power while also showing disdain for me and my show and my guys all at the same time,” he said. “While we have a relationship with the actual league, I think.”
