The Kansas City Chiefs did not win the Super Bowl this year, but kicker Harrison Butker still ended up in the White House, before the Philadelphia Eagles at that.
The Chiefs’ quest for a three-peat was halted by an inspired Philly team keen on revenge for their loss two years ago. However, rumors of them rejecting an invitation to visit the President’s official residence were rife earlier this week.
It was later revealed that Donald Trump hadn’t extended an invite. And then folks found out that the initial reports were false as the Eagles were actually looking forward to visiting the White House.
They have since been officially invited and will be making the trip soon. But the Chiefs kicker has already made his own, meeting with President Trump this week.
Margo Martin, one of Trump’s assistants, shared a photo of the two men to X, formerly known as Twitter, captioning it “The GOAT of kicking @buttkicker7 meets the GOAT of Presidents @realDonaldTrump.”
Harrison Butker’s White House Photo Got Americans Talking

The photo garnered plenty of positive comments.
“America is Healing!” someone declared.
“Wild how an athlete expressing his faith and values is ‘polarizing,’ but guys twerking in the end zone is ‘empowering,” someone else wrote.
“We love both of these GOATs!” said a third.
Of course, it wasn’t all sunshine.
“Neither of them is the GOAT of anything,” a user wrote.
“Lmfao, there’s a lot better than him out there,” another added.
Harrison Butker has become a controversial figure in recent times, having made himself the subject of rife debate after his speech at a commencement ceremony in which he urged women to focus on being homemakers ahead of last season.
The Chiefs star, a devout Catholic, said he had no regrets while addressing reporters before the Super Bowl earlier this month.
“It’s a decision I’ve consciously made and one I do not regret at all,” he remarked.
The purpose of his White House visit or what he discussed with the President is unclear.
