BREAKING: Philadelphia Eagles Make Stunning Decision To Bench $51 Million Star For Super Bowl 59

The Philadelphia Eagles have been facing regret over the $51.1 million contract given to edge rusher Bryce Huff, who has underperformed since joining the team.

Now, that regret has gotten even worse just hours before the Super Bowl.

Despite the Eagles achieving a top defense and a Super Bowl appearance, Huff’s contribution has been minimal due to injuries and inconsistent play.

The Eagles have listed edge rusher Bryce Huff, their biggest free-agent signing last season in terms of money, among their inactives against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

This might seem a huge loss, but Huff has contributed close to nothing since being part of the team.Huff made no secret at the end of his Jets tenure that he was seeking a life-changing contract, but once he got it, he decided not to live up to it.

Bryce Huff Has Contributed Close To Nothing During Playoff Run

Bryce Huff is a healthy scratch less than a year after signing a three-year deal worth as much as $51 million.

Huff was one of the NFL’s best bargains after he compiled 10 sacks while making $4.3 million for the Jets.

Once he got paid, things started to go downhill.

Huff hasn’t been a good fit and lost a starting job to Nolan Smith.

Among this sad state of affairs is Huff not playing very much throughout this playoff run.

Now, the team plans on playing the Super Bowl without his services.
