VIDEO: Crazy Scene Unfolds During Raiders HC Pete Carroll’s Introductory Press Conference As Marshawn Lynch Interrupts Him With Loud Yelling

Former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch hilariously interrupted new Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll during the latter’s introductory press conference on Monday.

On Saturday, the Raiders officially named Pete Carroll their new head coach after relieving Antonio Pierce of his duties. Carroll spent the 2024 season as an advisor to the Seattle Seahawks, having coached the NFC West club from 2010 to 2023.

Lynch, who played seven seasons for Carroll’s Seahawks and two for the Raiders, attended today’s introductory conference. While Carroll was speaking to reporters, a fired-up Lynch provided some laughs for the crowd by screaming, “RAIDERS!”

To make this even greater, Pete Carroll sarcastically told Raiders owner Mark Davis to “settle down a little bit.”

The Raiders have gone through coach after coach after coach for 30 years now since Al Davis controversially fired the beloved Art Shell after the 1994 season. Including interim coaches, Pete Carroll is already the organization’s ninth HC since 2011.Giving Jon Gruden a $100 million contract after nine years away from coaching proved to be Mark Davis’ worst decision of them all. Moving on from well-respected interim HC Rich Bisaccia —after he led the Raiders to the playoffs in 2021 — was also mind-boggling. To say nothing of the decision to replace Bisaccia with Josh McDaniels, who didn’t even last two years.
