Sunday’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams didn’t make for much excitement as it ended 12-13, but the referee had fans singing his praises, given his impressive physique.
The official, Vincent Land Clark, stood out during the game, with social media noticing how jacked he looked on television. You don’t typically see refs getting recognition for being in shape in the thick of the action. And, in Clark’s case, it’s all the more impressive because the dude is 62 years old.
Even radio host Mike Golic Jr. gave the ref his props during the preseason fixture.
“Land Clark is JACKED. Biggest takeaway from the Rams/Cowboys game so far,” he was heard saying
The Dallas Cowboys & Los Angeles Rams Gave Their Regulars A Rest On Sunday
As mentioned above, the game was nothing to shout about. The Dallas Cowboys lost 12-13 as both teams gave their non-starters a run.
Trey Lance and Stetson Bennett were the quarterbacks on either end, and it was especially great to see the latter on the field, considering he missed his entire rookie season in 2023 due to personal issues.
The former Georgia signal-caller passed 224 yards and one touchdown, throwing a very decent 24/38, though he was picked four times. Lance passed for 188 yards, zero TDs, and zero INTs.
Cooper Rush also played a few snaps for Dallas, throwing for 44 yards on 2/3 passing.
