Sha’Carri Richardson has gone through a lot more adversity than your typical athlete. In 2021, she was banned from the American track and field team for testing positive for marijuana and would not have the opportunity to compete in the Tokyo Olympics. However, in 2024, she represented America at the Paris Olympic Games and won a silver medal in the 100-meter race and a gold medal in the women’s 4×100-meter relay. Her struggles weren’t forgotten, as she had “I’m not back, I’m Better” painted on her nails.
