REPORT: Brutal Weather Warning Announced In Philadelphia Ahead Of Eagles-Rams Playoff Game

The Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams are expected to feature in a snow game this Sunday.

The two teams are vying for passage to the NFC Championship Game, in which the winner will play the Washington Commanders following their upset win over the Detroit Lions on Saturday night.

However, they will not be playing in enjoyable conditions, as a Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the hosting city.

It has already begun snowing, with the temperature projected to be around 34 degrees when the game starts at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Philadelphia Eagles & Los Angeles Rams Set To Play Through A Very Cold Game

According to The Weather Channel, one inch of snow is expected to fall over the first six hours, while another three inches are expected over the next 12.

Meanwhile, a National Weather Service briefing notes that the precipitation system is expected to dump 4-6 inches of snow along the I-95 corridor, which Lincoln Financial Field forms a part of.

Either way, it’s going to be a very cold game, with snow expected on the field.

The Rams have already knocked one favorite out of Super Bowl contention, pulling off a surprise win over the Minnesota Vikings. They will hope for a similar defensive output against Philly, but the Eagles boast the best defense in the NFL this season and will likely make things difficult as well.

It should be an intriguing contest.
